As the Lean Centre of Excellence (LCOE) for the Ministry of Health, IHM provides lean consultancy and
training and until now has facilitated lean deployment in a minimum of 52 hospitals nationwide since its
inception. Other than that, the team also conducts research on topics mainly related to lean healthcare.
There are several ongoing projects in which some involve collaboration with various partners.

The State Health Department in Sabah organized implemented a process redesign to meet the needs
