imparting the value of knowledge acquisition to their
children; however, there could also be other possible
reasons which explain why some of these questions can
no longer be relevant for indicating whether (or not) the
parents have emphasized the importance of knowledge
acquisition among their children. For example, it is
possible for logistical problems such as the long distance
between home and the library to affect the parents’
decision of whether (or not) to send their children to the
library. Similarly, it is also possible for only those parents
who can afford tuition fees to be able to send their
children to attend tuition classes. This shows that whether
(or not) the parents are sending children to the library or
to attend tuition classes does not always provide a fair and
accurate assessment of the parents’ emphasis on the
importance of imparting the value of knowledge
acquisition to their children.
