respondent from providing an honest, candid
answer for their overt fear of judgment by the
researchers or even worse, they may make them
decide not to answer. Hence, it is imperative for
the researcher to rephrase such questions very
carefully and to consider an alternative way to
elicit responses that pertain to sensitive issues.
If deemed necessary, then such sensitive
questions should be carefully and appropriately
asking so that the respondent will not feel
offended.
