Cancer
Research Centre (CaRC)
CANCER RESEARCH CENTRE (CaRC) In line with the National Strategic Plan for Cancer Control Programme (2016-
2025), the Cancer Research Centre (CaRC) has carried out research to improve
prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cancers. CaRC comprises three units
- Haematology, Stomatology and Molecular Pathology Units. CaRC conducts
various research-related activities such as biomarker discovery and validation,
development of therapeutic agents, immunotherapy, pharmaco-genetics and
pharmaco-genomics of anti-cancer drugs and stem cell therapy.
