knowledge attained by a study respondent in a
specific subject, such as the level of knowledge
about antibiotics among medical officers or the
patients’ level of knowledge regarding diabetes
mellitus (Thriemer et al., 2013; Gulabani et al.,
2008). Hence, this type of questionnaire aims to
measure a student’s or a study respondent’s
performance in their level of knowledge attained,
rather than for the purpose of keeping such records
for future reference.
