Wee Kooi, Dato’ Dr Gun Suk Chyn and Dr Yasmin Mohamed Gani. This was followed by a panel discussion session moderated
by Dr. Hishamshah Mohd Ibrahim, focusing on the dosing of hydroxychloroquine, its role in prophylaxis, paediatric
management and critically ill patients, as well as other COVID-19 potential treatments such as antivirals, steroids and
prophylaxis anticoagulants.
WEBINAR 5: LIVING ON THE FRONTLINE OF COVID-19
This webinar focused on infection
control of COVID-19 in a hospital setting
and steps to safeguard healthcare
workers (HCWs) working in hybrid
and non-COVID-19 hospitals. The
topics were presented by Assoc Prof
Dr Sasheela Ponnampalavanar and
Dr Anusha Shunmugarajoo. This was
followed by a panel discussion session
moderated by Datuk Dr Christopher
Lee with the three presenters and Dr
Paranthaman Vengadasalam acting as
the guess panellist, with topics ranging
from cleaning and disinfection in
household and hospital settings, as
well as appropriate management of
HCW with COVID-19.
