● Crisis Conversation
This is a case that happened in our clinic. We had an exposure whereby the person
who came in to our clinic was a Patient Under Investigation (PUI). The staff at the
clinic were all anxious and there was a lot of anxiety.
What do we do about it? We had an honest conversation and it turned out that there
was misinformation. The crisis communication cleared up the misinformation. There
is a need to have a safe space to be honest, open and vent in order to reach a
constructive consensus.
