Control at Strategic Sites
30 Aug 2020: Telaga Cluster A new
cluster at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital,
Kedah - among HCW whose duties did
not involve the care of confirmed
COVID-19 patients.
MOH screens 374 individuals - family
members, hospital staff and others.
Hospital-targeted screening to
continue. Measures to prevent and
control infection such as cleaning and
disinfection done.

Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital services are
not affected and continue as usual.
The cause of the infection is still under
investigation but it is suspected to be
from the community. §
High-Risk Groups Include:
Older adults
Pregnant woman
With chronic diseases e.g. diabetes,
hypertension, heart disease etc.
With low immunity e.g. cancer, HIV etc.

These individuals should:
1. Avoid crowded places
2. Comply fully with government SOPs
3. Wear face masks in crowded and
confined places
4. Seek treatment immediately if unwell
5. Maintain good personal hygiene at all
times
6. Eat a balanced diet
7. Remain physically active.
