          WEBINAR ON COVID-19:

          UNRAVELLING  DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF

          HEALTH, SOCIO-ECONOMIC WELL-BEING
          AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

          IN THE COMMUNITY DURING COVID-19
          PANDEMIC




          Following the new norm of the COVID-19 pandemic,
          people around the world have been impacted in terms of
          health, well-being, social, environmental, and economy.
          Implementation of movement control, quarantine, and
          restriction have been carried out to prevent the spread of
          COVID-19 infection.
          On 8 February 2021, the Institute for Health Behavioural
          Research (IHBR) with Institute for Social Sciences Studies,
          Universiti Putra Malaysia (IPSAS,UPM) took the initiative
          to conduct a COVID-19 webinar forum. The webinar
          was attended by approximately 200 people  including
          academicians, researchers and members of the public.
          The experts were Prof. Dr. Haslinda Abdullah (IPSAS) Prof.
          Madya Dr. Malina Osman (Faculty of Medicine and Health
          Sciences,UPM), Dr. Manimaran Krishnan (Director of IHBR)
          and  Puan Fadhlina Dato’ Sidek, Vice President of Family
          Empowerment Society (FAME) who spoke about a variety of
          issues of COVID-19 impact.
          The webinar highlighted findings from studies conducted
          in various aspects of health, socio-economic well-being and
          environmental sustainability within the community.
