1. SPREADING FORTUNE AND PROSPERITY IN FEBRUARY: ICR
CHINESE NEW YEAR 2023 CELEBRATION
The Institute for Clinical Research (ICR) organised a Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration among ICR and
National Institute of Health (NIH) staffs on the 16th of February 2023 at the main lobby of ICR. Among
the distinguished guests were Health Director General—Datuk Dr. Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan, who
was the then Deputy Director-General of Health (Research and Technical Support) at the Ministry of
Health (MoH); Directors of all the Institutes in NIH, and the NIH Registrar, Puan Safriah Md Adzhar. The
event began at 11am. ICR Director, Datuk Dr. Kalaiarasu M. Peariasamy, welcomed guests at the ICR
main foyer and lobby. Guests were entertained by various fun and interactive activities, such as learning
Chinese calligraphy and the art of origami by folding paper rabbit models.
