Information Technology Sector NIH (ITS NIH) was FACING THE PANDEMIC ERA
established in January 2019 when NIH Institutes shifted to
its new complex at Setia Alam. All the individual IT units STM has played a significant role in assisting NIH in enduring
of each institutes were merge and given as a new name – the pandemic era. The major challenges faced include the

STM has 4 major units in order to deliver the best ICT

Online meeting and Virtual Conference (VC) has become
a new norm in conducting meetings and training in the
COVID-19 pandemic era. STM has established a NIH VC
Technical team which is responsible for providing assistance
in setting up VC sessions, and also conducting training
related to VC Platform to NIH Staffs. The team has assisted in
almost 1000 sessions of VC since 2020 – 2021 in NIH. NIH VC
Technical Team has also been invited to consult and support
at major inter department in MOH.

STM also assisted in providing IT equipment and support
services for the establishment of NIH COVID-19 Control
Room (Bilik Gerakan Covid NIH), NIH COVID-19 Operational
Data Entry and Verification, and the sample testing lab for
Information Technology Sector NIH Crew COVID-19 RTK kits. Our team provides 24/7 technical support
