for a researcher in the selection of the most suitable

existing questionnaire to undergo the subsequent

validation process, in order to adapt it for a specific

           purpose of this new study.

Many factors should be considered when selecting

the most suitable questionnaire to validate for adapting it

for a specific purpose of the new study. These include:

               (i) whether it is a new or an old questionnaire,

(ii) cost of acquisition of the questionnaire (i.e.

whether it is available for free of charge or not),

(iii) the number of items or questions in the

                      questionnaire, and

(iv) the total citation counts of the questionnaire (i.e.

whether the questionnaire has been widely cited

                      or not).
