●  Ordinal scale

              In  ordinal  scale,  numbers  represent  the


       ranking  and  order  of  the  data  without  a  clear

       degree of variation between the ranks. Ordinal data


       are quantitative data of naturally occurring ranks

       to provide information about ‘more than’ or ‘less


       than’.  Therefore,  ordinal  data  can  provide  a

       measure    of    magnitude    of    non-numeric


       characteristics such as satisfaction, preference and

       happiness.  One  commonly  used  example  of

       ordinal  scale  is  the  Likert  scale  that  aims  to


       describe  for  instance  respondent’s  satisfaction
