P. 11
Step 1: Title and abstract review
At least three reviewers independently examined all of the identified references' titles
and abstracts to determine their relevance to the review's objectives. Reviewers met
three times (at the beginning, halfway, and end of the process) to discuss any issues or
uncertainties connected to the study selection.
Step 2: Full-text review
For Stage 2, at least three reviewers independently accessed the full text articles to
determine if they met the inclusion criteria. The PRISMA flow chart was used to describe
this stage of study selection.
4.4 Charting the data
After the scoping question has been defined, the next step entails establishing a database
to chart relevant data. They may then find commonalities, themes and any gaps in the
material that needed to be addressed. Authors, year of publication, study goals, methods,
and outcomes/results are all suggested categories for data collecting.
4.5 Collating, summarizing, and reporting
This stage included collecting, summarising, and reporting the results. The basic analytic
framework and topic analysis were used to provide a view of the existing literature on the
study. However, it did not place an emphasis on the quality of the literature (weight of
evidence). The literature might be presented using basic numerical analysis to illustrate
the nature and scope of earlier investigations, with the goal of organising them for better
narrative account and identifying substantial gaps.
4.6 Ethical consideration
This study is registered with the National Medical Research Registry (NMRR), Ministry of
Health Malaysia (MOH) with registration ID: NMRR-18-840-40524 (IIR).
