27 Nov 2020: Vaccines The government, through the Minister of Health, signed an
initial purchase agreement with Pfizer to obtain a supply of COVID-19 vaccine, 12.8
million doses for 20 percent (6.4 million) Malaysians.
For the vaccine to be used in Malaysia, Pfizer would still need approval from:
The United States' Food and Drug Administration
Regulatory approval from the producing country,
The Health Ministry's National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA), Malaysia.
