             Coordination & Capacity



             18 Nov 2020: A continual rise in cases in
             Klang Valley Total cumulative cases
             crosses 50K, with 12,814 active cases and
             8 new clusters today. Strategies include:

             Increase COVID-19 beds - this increased
             almost 14 times from 345 (1 October) to
             4,739 beds, with cooperation of:
             1. National Disaster Management Agency
                (NADMA),
             2. Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM),
             3. Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM),
             4. Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department   Source: NADMA Facebook  §

             5. Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM),
             6. Malaysian Volunteer Department (RELA)
                and
             7. Department of Social Welfare (JKM).


               6 facilities in 2 states: HKL, HSgB, CRH,
               PKKN, ILKKM and Tuanku Mizan Armed
               Forces Hospital (HATTM)
               Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital to a
               COVID-19 hybrid hospital (230 beds)

               beds)
               National Leprosy Control Center as a
               LRQC (648 beds).

             Central Region COVID-19 Unified
             Command Centre - To facilitate
             governance and operation of all hospitals
             and LRQCs in Selangor, WPKL & Putrajaya.
