Armed Forces Plans a Field Hospital
10 Oct 2020: Field Hospital for Tawau The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) plans a
field hospital with MOH: for non-COVID-19 cases from Tawau Hospital. This is
specifically for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and General Surgery services,
and frees Tawau Hospital for COVID-19 cases that require intensive care, as well as
cases from Semporna.
COVID-19 cases without symptoms or with mild symptoms (categories 1 and 2) will
continue to be placed at COVID-19 Low Risk Quarantine Centres (LRQC/PKRC). § §
