Page 7 - ANTIFUNGAL SUSCEPTIBILITY OF CLINICAL YEAST ISOLATES 2018-2020
P. 7
Susceptibility of Candida parapsilosis complex to echinocandins is 36.6%
for anidulafungin, 91.7% for micafungin, and 58.3% for caspofungin, 83% is
susceptible to fluconazole and 90% to voriconazole.
For Candida tropicalis, susceptibility to echinocandins is 98.8% for
anidulafungin, 100% for micafungin, and 40.3% for caspofungin, 77% is
susceptible to fluconazole and 72.9% to voriconazole.
Susceptibility of Candida glabrata complex to echinocandins is 96.6% for
anidulafungin, 97.7% for micafungin, and 54.9% for caspofungin, 94.6% is
susceptible-dose-dependent to fluconazole.
The antifungal susceptibility results for some other emerging yeasts are
also tabulated: Kodamae ohmeri, Pichia kudriavzevii, Clavispora lusitaniae,
Meyerozyma guilliermondii, Candida haemulonii, Rhodotorula mucilaginosa
were given in tables.
