Pathological changes of the heart
Post-mortem examination showed atherosclerotic changes of coronary arteries. The
cross section of the coronary artery showed a total occlusion by the atherosclerotic
changes. The cut section of the heart showed dilated chambers with patchy fibrosis.
Histology showed evidence of fibrosis of the myocardium.
