announces a
RM15 billion
assistance
package for
protection of
the economy
and the people
(Perlindungan
Ekonomi Dan
Rakyat Malaysia
(PERMAI)), with
the main
objectives of:
1. Combating
the COVID-
19 outbreak,
2. Safeguarding
the welfare
of the
people, and
3. Supporting
the business
continuity.
Additionally,
3,500
healthcare
workers will be
