As we come together as a nation, irrespective of circumstances, we see

selfless leadership, extensive collaborations, multi-sectoral synergy,
altruistic resource sharing and evidence of the country’s cohesive
            commitment.

Along with the third wave, we are also seeing new hope on the horizon.
Judicious approaches have brought upon new measures in combating the

disease more effectively. We are slowly understanding what we are fighting
against, and in the process adapt and transform well. As Marie Curie once
said, “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time

to understand more, so that we may fear less”.

The government is wholehearted in the endeavour to win this war. Hand-

in-hand, as frontliners and rakyat come together and join forces, tirelessly,
against this foe, I have every confidence that we will overcome this. So,
God willing, let us continue to work together, embrace the new norms, and

            protect the country.

I take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the Institute for Health

Systems Research, for this 3rd instalment of the COVID-19 Chronicles.
Thank you and congratulations on your diligent efforts. May this
documentation serve as preservation of approaches taken, and used as

lessons for future health systems strengthening.
