               diabetes should ideally perform both aerobic and resistance exercise training for optimal
               glycemic and health outcomes. They are encouraged to reduce sedentary time and break up
               sitting time with frequent activity breaks. Physical activity also shown beneficial effects on
               survival for patients with breast, colorectal, and prostate cancers by lower the risk of death
               from 30 to 40 %. Proper pre-participation evaluation is recommended before engaging in
               exercise program. An exercise prescription which comprises of FITT (Frequency, Intensity,
               Time and Type) principle should be implemented by healthcare provider to unsure the safety
               and  effectiveness  of  the  exercise  program.  Clearly,  healthy  lifestyle  initiatives,  including
               health-conscious food availability/choices and physical activity (PA) should be at the forefront
               of any strategy to combat NCDs.
