Presenting Symptoms
The most common presenting symptom is shortness of breath. This is not surprising
simply because when they come in at Stage 3, 4, and 5, the patients were already
symptomatic. At the same time, they required supplemental oxygen. The other
common symptoms are fever, cough, diarrhoea and vomiting. Other symptoms
include myalgia and sore throat. Two of our mortality cases presented with anosmia.
