quantitative research, the types of responses
elicited from the study respondents are very
important because these quantitative data must be
presented in way that allow them to be analysed by
using appropriate statistics.
It is too lengthy to describe all the possible
ways to choose an appropriate type of question for
a questionnaire. Therefore, to keep things simple
for a researcher, the following description
provides two approaches which can often be used
to frame a question in such a way that it will
address the study objective for a survey research:
