The prevalence of anti-HA were more than 90% in Yugoslavian and Israeli, 24% in Switzerland and 87% in Belgium, 88% in Taiwan and 50% in Japan. Post-transfusion hepatitis is the most common and important of hepatitits B and Non-A, Non-B. There are an estimated 800,000 carriers of hepatitis B in the United States and as many as 200 million throughout the world.
